The Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference runs from August 12-14, 2010. Held on the beautiful campus of Philadelphia Biblical University, conferees will enjoy workshops, continuing sessions, and general meetings taught by experienced publishing staff, agents, and authors. Editor/Agent/Author appointments are always a highlight of the event. If you sign up for all three days, you'll get four 15-minute slots to pitch your latest project.
For detailed information, go to the Write His Answer website and click on the Philadelphia Conference link.
Have a great weekend!

That sounds wonderful. Wish I could go...I could just go from conference to conference if I had the money! Maybe next year.
Blessings Susan! (I answered your question on my blog)
Wow, four slots? That's pretty awesome!
I've always wanted to go to Philadelphia--sounds like a great conference!
LOVE the tick, tick clock. Hope that conference rocks!!!
Blessings,
Patti
Hi Jan -
Marlene does a great job with both the Colorado conference and the Philly conference.
I'll pop over to your place and check on that answer. :)
Blessings,
Susan
Hi Jess -
Yes, and the first 100 to register get five slots. At the conference, if there are cancellations or someone has openings, you might be able to get more.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Jill -
I hope you can make it sometime. I've learned so much from the workshops I've taken at Philly and made many friends.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Patti -
Thanks. I liked that graphic myself. Note there's also a link to another article besides the conference. Unfortunately, Blogger once again messed up my formatting, so it blended into the Conference blurb.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hhmm... sounds great, I wonder if they have this on the west coast...
Sounds like a good conference! I'm doing my research on which conference would be most helpful for my non-fiction, inspirational writing. Hope you have a fantastic weekend, Susan!
Thanks for your comment @ Life Lessons! I think you're right, sometimes the decision to change IS the hardest part! It's great being able to look back on the areas where God has challenged us and realize His plan was best all along. I'm greatful for His love!
Hi Marja -
Marlene does a conference in Colorado in March or April. You can find out from the website.
There's a conference in Mt. Hermon and one in Glorieta, NM. If you Google Christian Writers Conferences, you should be able to find a bunch.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Maria -
Philly has plenty of workshops and opportunities for non-fiction writers. I started out as a non-fiction writer and got quite a few assignments through the conference.
Check out the website for detailed information.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Among the many things on my Bucket List is the plan to make my way around the country and meet this author and that one; this blogger and that one too. Conferences are a target rich environment for doing just that, and so much more.
Sorry I can't join you for this one.
Blessings,
Kathleen
I wish I could come up and go!! I will someday now that I know you:)) Thank you for your sweet note--you encouraged me so much. I wish we lived closer and I would come over fora visit:)
Hi Kathleen -
I know people, who want to ride every rollercoaster in the country. It makes pefect sense for writers to target conferences. :)
Sorry you can't make it this year.
Blessings,
Susan
Hi Terri -
Hey, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, give me a call. I'd love to meet you in person. :)
Blessings,
Susan
Have heard good things about the creativity Boot Camp, and the Philly conference as well. Love the picture you used with this:)
Blessings,
Karen
That sounds like a very generous time frame. Hope all who attend have a great time and get a foot in the door, or at least great help with their projects.
Hi Karen -
The Philly Conference is one of the largest. Marlene's been producing it for over 25 years.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Nancy -
Thanks. I could sure use some encouragement at this conference. Breaking into fiction takes perseverance.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Thank you for the info Susan! I hope you're having a blessed weekend!
Hi T. Anne -
