Friday Postscript

A couple of news bites surfaced since I wrote the Friday Round-Up.

On the home front, the November 2008 issue of "The TopNotch Writer" is online. My article, "Who Moved the Finish Line?" appears in this issue. I hope you'll take a hop, skip, and a jump over there.

Many Christians are wrestling with this election. A friend sent me a link to Randy Alcorn's blog. He deals with some of these issues. Randy is a well-respected author and teacher in the Christian community and addresses questions and comments from his readers.

I just skimmed Randy Alcorn's blog because I don't have time to read the whole thing right now, but I will later.

From the bit that I read, I couldn't agree with him more. A friend made a point to me the other day, why is it that when a pregnant woman is murdered it is called a double homicide, but when an unborn baby is murdered it's called abortion?

Just something to think about.

Hi Sarah -

I thought he did an excellent job expressing his views.

People are adept at using euphemisms to describe horrific actions. It's a way to disguise what's actually being done.

Blessings,
Susan :)
