The Seekers have a fabulous post on writing a query letter, include samples, and links. This is a two-parter, so be sure to catch both of them.
I found one observation particularly interesting. People are learning how to produce a dynamite query letter, but not paying as much attention to their novels. Hmm - a bit of cart before the horse here?
Dee Stewart, at The Master's Artist, gives 10 ways to promote your writing through the holidays. Check it out. Have a great weekend!
I haven't really read a whole lot of CFOM so I'll have to check it out.
Thanks for the usual helpful round-up!
Hi Jessica -
There's a lot of excellent content on CFOM. I read it in bits and pieces because of time constraints.
You're welcome. I try to find articles on a variety of subjects.
You have one my dear! One pair of Christmas sockies are all yours to enjoy. Email me your address and I'll pop them in the mail.

Congrats dear :)
Hooray for helpful links! Thanks Susan!
Hi Annie -
Cool! I'll email you right away, and wear them on Christmas. :)
Hi Sarah -
Glad you enjoyed them. :)
P.S. How's Chris?
I hope your migraine goes away. :-(
Used to get headaches all the time, so I really feel for you and will pray you get better quickly. Also, I saw your post on RG's blog. If there's anything someone can do to help, I'd be happy to. Plus, prayer is good. :-)
Hi Jessica -
Thanks for your prayers. I'm feeling like a human being again. Migraines are not fun.
