I'm thankful for:
1) Jesus and the salvation He's made available to all who receive Him.
2) My wonderful family. Love to Mom, Rick, Shannon, and Mike.
3) All of my friends, who love me in spite of my flaws.
4) My Blogging Buddies and Internet friends, who encourage me on my writing journey.
5) For health, provision, and progress on the home repairs this year.
6) My country - still the most free nation on earth.
Have a great weekend!

I'm thankful for those things too! Esp. thankful for family members who like to cook. LOL!
Have a wonderful holiday, Susan!
I love this time of year and the special emphasis we put on giving thanks. Have a wonderful weekend!
Susan, I think you summed it up perfectly! I'd also like to add how thankful I am that I have the opportunity to stay at home with the kids (instead of working) and write as much as I'm able.
Happy Thanksgiving!
That's a wonderful list! I'm thankful for you too! Have a great weekend, Susan! And a great Thanksgiving!
Hi Jess -
I'm with you! The first time I cooked a turkey I left the plastic bag in the neck with all the icky stuff. LOL! It's not my favorite thing to cook although I've improved.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Jody -
I'm trying to express my gratitude on a daily basis. It's too easy to take everything we hold dear for granted.
Thankfulness is a great attitude adjuster. :)
Blessings,
Susan
Hi Cindy -

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. We are unsure about what we are doing. Hubby has an appt. with a specialist on Monday. And he's always rather spontanious about these holidays.(Actually, they creep up on him.)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Susan! I am thankful for your blog:)
Hi Quiet Spirit -
Ah yes, the holidays have a way of sneaking up on folks. My parents were right when they said time speeds up as you get older.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! What an amazing time of year when we can gather with family and be thankful for those in our lives and what God gave us when he sent his son to die for us. Have an awesome week, Susan!
Wonderful post, Susan! It's so easy to get caught up in our daily lives and forget our 'attitude of gratitude.' Thanks for the reminder that I need to express thanks on a daily basis.
I've given you a blog award. You can pick it up over at WordVessel.
Blessings,
Cathy
