I like the idea of sending the work to the editor in pieces. And I also like the trick of forgetting the whole book and focusing on just the one part that is due. Getting things right in your head first always helps.

Yesterday, I had to 'live by the clock'. I had to cram in laundry, grocery store, preparations for a going away party, purchase a special shirt, go to the funeral home and attend that going away party. I had to pray that God kept me from getting too stressed out or I was going to be ill. I managed to get everywhere I needed to be. When I got too 'strung out,' I caught myself and prayed a sentence prayer.

Hi Quiet Spirit - I've had many days like that! Prayer is the best remedy for getting "strung out." :)

Blessings,
Susan
