Friday Round-Up - #191

Tess Gerritsen posts at Novel Rocket about how an editor revived her career in the United Kingdom. It's an amazing story.

Has another writer or editor impacted your life? Please share.

Have a blessed weekend!

Each time I read a new author I gain more knowledge about charcter development. Although I have my own style, I learn from all of them. Have a great weekend.

Oh yes Susan, that happens all the time. I do not always like it, but I know I need it.
Blessings, enjoy your weekend.

Hi Linda - Other writers have impacted my life. It's always good to glean nuggets from those who are further along on the journey.

Hi Marja - LOL! I know what you mean. Like any advice, it must be considered and weighed.

Hi Karen - Enjoy! I thought it was a neat story.

Blessings,
Susan :)

Ann Voskamp comes to mind. I always find her posts fresh and inspiring, and I love that she's not afraid to break the rules of writing.

I've learned from many editors the important lesson of accepting constructive criticism. Most of the time, their criticism has been right on, and my writing improved as a result.
