Friday Round-Up - #134

What's a storm drain doing on my post? Take a walk down Blooper Lane with Kay Marshall Strom, and you'll find out.

What are some bloopers you've come across?

How do you organize your research? Janalyn Voight, at Author Haven, gives tips on keeping everything neat and accessible.

Have a great weekend!

What research? LOL That's why I try to write what I know. I hate to do research:)

Love the blooper post. Our public library placed a large and embarrassing ad in our local newspaper last year. I'll let you use your imagination, but set in big black caps the "L" was left out of the word "public."

Hi Jean -

The bloopers are funny. As illustrated by the example you gave, they can also be very embarrassing.

Loved Ms. Voight's article. Research is a hefty issue and she has it all spelled out nicely. I especially loved the timeline idea and how events need to be noted, even if they don't have a direct accect on your story. Very interesting.

I'm with Terri; I hate research.

But you can serve me a plate of bloopers any day!
