Debbie Roome, over at PixnPens, continues her series on the elements of successful fiction. In this segment, she shows how to add color to your writing.
PixNPens announced a new column on Fridays. Kathy Ide tackles the subject of self-editing.
Last, but not least, my buddy, Karen Lange, gives some nifty links of her own over at Write Now. Check out her post.
Whew! All this jogging around the Net made me work up a sweat. (Sorry, but women do sweat.) I'll pass the baton on to all of you. Take a run around the Internet track and see what you can find.
Have a great 4th of July weekend!

What??? Women sweat? LOL Just kidding.
I'd heard Ide was going to be posting at PixNPens. I'll have to check out some of their posts later. That was one of the first blogs I ever ran across.
I love traversing the blogosphere too. :-)
Hi Jess -
It's so much fun meeting other bloggers and gleaning from their experience.
Have a happy 4th!
Blessings,
Susan :)
Actually, I heard somewhere that women don't sweat...we perspire. A much nicer way to put it, don't you think? ;)
Here is what my mom said about sweating:
"Horses sweat, men perspire, but women glow." Not sure if it originated with her or not, but thought it an interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing my blog:)
Blessings and hugs!
I also love to check out new Christian writers on the net. It helps a lot to know you're not alone with just about any problem you may have.
Susan, thanks so much for the links. I'm definitely going to check those out. Have a great holiday weekend!
I'm tired just thinking about jogging!
Hi Sherrinda -
Yes, that's a much more refined word. All I can think of at the moment is why did I even bring up the subject??? LOL.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Nancy -
Thanks for commenting. :)
Blogrolls are a great way to find other writers. Terry Whalin has a bunch of links. Some of my earliest contacts came via his blogroll.
If you find anything interesting out there, give us a shout.
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Diane -
Thanks for joining the commenters today. :)
I once heard a comedian say when he thought about jogging he'd lay on the couch until it went away. While I work out at the gym, I don't think my back could take the strain of running.
Blessings,
Susan
Hi Cindy -
You're welcome. Have a great time exploring the Net!
Blessings,
Susan :)
Hi Karen -
Love the quote! Maybe you could check it out on Google. You'd be amazed what Google knows. :)
Thanks for the links.
Blessings,
Susan
Susan:
I always enjoy it when you direct us to another writing blog.
I need all the suggestions and pointers I can get.
Hi Quiet Spirit -
I'm right there with you! Thanks for your kind words.
