Friday Round-Up - #155

Carla Olson Gade, at Writing to Distraction, found a clip of the I Love Lucy show. Lucy decides to write a book with hilarious results. Make sure you have some time. It's a full episode.

Have you ever seen this clip? What was your favorite part?

Nancy Moser, at Novel Inspirations from History, shares background information on the setting from her book, "An Unlikely Suitor." She zeroes in on the Cliff Walk in Newport, R.I.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Susan, I hope you have a great weekend and that the sun shines bright for you!

Don't have time to watch the Lucy episode, but I can only imagine what a mess she made of her writing!

I'll have to check on the I Love Lucy Show - we have the first two seasons and I don't think I remember this one.

Laughter is good for the soul.

Happy Mother's Day.

Thanks for mentioning the Lucy Writes a Novel post on my blog. I loved the whole episode, but I especially enjoyed the beginning where she was talking about characterization.

Nancy Moser's post was brilliant!

Happy Mother's Day!

Thank you for the link. I use to watch I Love Lucy all the time. It's one of my favorites that and All In The Family. Everything about her is so funny. I have a book about her life, but have not yet read it. Blessings to you and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Eileen -

It was a long clip - a full episode. The whole plot revolved around using real people, thinly disguised, in a manuscript. Too funny!

Blessings,
Susan :)
