Love her list, especially: If you're right-handed, use your left hand; if you're left-handed, used your right. I have been doing that with my computer mouse, which is very interesting :) Have a great weekend Susan, thanks for sharing.
I don't know if it's preserving the grey matter, or just a new way to remember.. but I'm plugging lots of reminders into my phone these days. Prayer lists, etc. I guess that's cheating though... hmmm I did love her last tip - God's word and prayer. Vital to keep the brain and heart going. Blessings for a wonderful weekend, Dotti :)
Hi Susan, thanks so much for posting a link to my blog post.Yesterday I took my own advice and spent about ten minutes writing some ideas in my notebook...with my right hand! (I'm left-handed.)

Hi Marja - I was happy to see that reading perks up your brain. I do plenty of that!
ReplyDeleteHi Dorothy - Yes, for me, God's Word and prayer are the #1 way to stay sharp.
Blessings,
Susan :)

ReplyDeleteOh, good call!
My brain must be at least 10 years younger after all the blog posts and writing I've done. At least, I hope so!
Blessings,
Susan :)
I learn new games. I have to because my sons keep buying them and bringing them over.
ReplyDeleteI also love to read the Bible and go back and forth in the texts if something interests me.
