Amanda gave some great pointers! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat was very helpful to me. I especially liked learning how to title my blog posts. Those were ideas I had never heard before.
ReplyDeleteHi Loree - I'm glad you enjoyed the article.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy - I try to find posts that will be beneficial. :)
Blessings,
Susan
Thanks for this, Susan. Right out of the gate, I learned to *stop* doing something on my blog--namely, anchoring links with the word "here." I do that all of the time, including in my most recent post! I now know why I should stop.
ReplyDeleteUseful, succinct tips. :-) Be well.
I've loved Amanda's posts lately. So many great ideas.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend, Susan! :)
Hi Janette - There's a lot to learn about this blogging thing, isn't there? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah - Yes, she knows her stuff.
Blessings,
Susan :)
I just keep blogging, Facebooking, and writing (the weekly column). With a day job, there's only so much I can do. That's why I'm very excited about having the column picked up by an international magazine...am already noticing some increase in blog traffic. So that helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Susan, I struggle with building my platform sometimes, as I have one foot in Europe and one in the USA, is that double work?
ReplyDeleteI connect through other bloggers and Amazon reviews. If a lot of people really like a book, then I'll take their word for it.
ReplyDeleteAnother good link, Susan. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda - You'll have an excellent platform by the time you're ready to pitch your book. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Marja - Facebook, Twitter, and anything else on the Internet is worldwide, so I think you're covering both.
Hi Stephen - I also depend on reviews from other bloggers to point out great new releases. I don't read much on Amazon. By the time I go there, my buying decisions are already made.
Hi Jean - Thanks. :)
Blessings,
Susan
