Friday Round-Up - #161


Laurel, over at Laurel's Leaves, defines and demystifies misplaced modifiers. Now, there's a mouthful! I always learn a lot from her. Do you struggle with this grammar pitfall?

  3. Hi, Susan! I have few items in grammar that trip me up, but I must say, I'm pretty proud of my handle of gramatical issues. BUT, I promise I have plenty of other pitfalls!!

  11. My time teaching high school and college composition forced me to master grammar. The misplaced modifier is a big problem! Laurel is good with explaining points like this.

    I guess you'd need to be skilled in this area if you're teaching it. Those misplaced modifiers are tricky dudes.
