Friday Round-Up - #144

My buddy, Karen Lange, at Write Now, gave me the Meat and Potatoes award a few weeks ago. I hope you'll visit these bloggers and sample their offerings.

This award recognizes the meaty content found in the blogs we visit. It's my turn to pass this award on to two fellow bloggers.

I can always count on Laurel Garver, at Laurel's Leaves, for great writing advice. You've seen me link to her on my Friday Round-Up many times. Congratulations, Laurel.

Maria Morgan, at Life Lessons, provides a different kind of Meat and Potatoes experience. Her devotionals challenge, make observations, and get her readers thinking about their walk with the Lord. Congratulations, Maria, for a great spiritual meal!

  2. Thanks so much, Susan. What a lovely honor.

Have a great weekend-and pray for me, I'm going on a youth group retreat to the Poconos. Sleep-away events are usually a great time of intense conversation and spiritual growth for the kids.

  5. Ooh, a meaty award! I'm drooling over that steak! Maria's blog is one of my faves. Her devotions always speak to me. I'm not familiar with Laurel's, and I'm off to remedy that!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. I think pop-ups are fun. I'm not sure I want too many extra gizmos going on. If it were more like a toy that would be fine, but I still want a lot of books where great stories are blended with their pictures. They're the best.
