Friday Round-Up - #136

Amy Andrews guest posts on Money Saving Mom about creating a time management budget. I've been reading up on this subject and thought she had some good things to say.

Do you have any time management secrets you'd like to share? Feel free to do so in the comments. :)

Some bloggers turn their corner of the blogosphere into a business. Amy Andrews shares her journey, including how to launch an e-book. I knew that subject might interest some of our readers.

Have you ever thought of writing an e-book?

Have a great weekend!

  2. Hi Wendy -

LOL! I've paced while on the telephone. Does that count as exercise?

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  3. Hey Susan...I also pace when I'm on the phone and I make the bed if it's still not made! :)

  4. Of Amy's schedulig tips, I like streamlining and letting it go the best. Sometimes there's just no time to do the bartering thing. But, these are great ideas anyway.

  5. I use chores as cues to speak the Word of God over my life: When I make my bed I say protection verses; when I put my make up on, it's prosperity; when I get dressed, healing. I guess the day we hit the deer, I hadn't made the bed!

I wish I could burn calories while blogging...

  6. Susan ... I don't have an answer for you, but I DO have a question: Do you use book-writing software? If so, do you recommend it (or any)?

    thank you,
    Kathleen

  7. Hi Dolores -

Too funny! I'm glad I'm not the only one who multitasks.

I don't think I could make the bed while on the phone. I don't have an earpiece, so I have to hold the receiver.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  8. Hi Nancy -

Not all the suggestions will meet everyone's needs, but you might find one or two nuggets. :)

    Blessings,
    Susan

Thanks for the giggle. I'll have to try that.

  10. Hi Kathleen -

I'm not familiar with book-writing software. SOTP is my method. I usually know the beginning and the end. The rest is a surprise. (Now, all you plotters don't groan!)

Randy Ingermanson has a program that helps you plot a novel. I've heard rave reviews about it. In fact, I own it. It did help me some, but I didn't use it to the fullest advantage.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  11. I have to work to find ways to multitask. I have my mind going all the time. I need to get my hands busy at the same time.

I bookmarked that site. I know I will be going back there.
