This & That - #6

FYI - The Molly Contest is open to unpublished authors of romance fiction. Check it out here. While I appreciate all the awards, I've run out of room on my sidebar. Until I can figure out how to get them in a slide show format, I'm asking everyone to refrain from giving me any further awards. If you know how to set up a slide show, I'd appreciate some tips. Thanks! :)

  1. I love it when you share contests, I think it was you who shared one last week and I entered. I'll check it out:)

  2. Hi Terri -

Yeah, that was me. :) When I see them, I let everyone know.

Sorry the formatting of the post is off kilter again. Sigh. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with these multiple graphics.

    Blessings,
    Susan

  3. Hi, Susan.

There's a gadget in Blogger for creating a slideshow. If you go to your Blogger layout and click on Add a Gadget, you can scroll down the list and choose the slideshow option.

    Blessings!

  6. Every now-and-then I run across a blog site that can only be described as "over-stimulating". There's every award known unto man - - all of them flashing or framed with bling; coupled with reading lists and music playing.

I completely understand your desire to organize. I never have to worry about nervous twitches when I visit.

    :)

    Blessings,
    Kathleen

  7. Hi Kathleen -

    I'm glad my blog's design/content doesn't give you "nervous twitches." :)

The two modifications I'm considering are the slide show and taking away the pictures from the blogroll. They take up too much room.

    Blessings,
    Susan

  8. Hey Susan,
You can add pages with blogger now. Why not just as a page to put all your awards on?
    Just a thought,
    Carol

  9. Hi Carol -

Thanks for the suggestion. I've seen blogs with multiple pages and considered using one as a substitute for a website.

The whole issue of setting up a website makes me want to pull the covers over my head.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)
