On My Nightstand - Violet Dawn by Brandilyn Collins

Bestselling Author, Brandilyn Collins, is known for her, "Seatbelt Suspense." In Violet Dawn, she delivers on that promise from page 1.

Paige Williams finds herself in a no-win situation when she encounters death in her hot tub. With no support and running from her past, Paige doesn't like any of her options.

Brandilynn gave me another, "carry-this-book-everywhere story." Just when I thought Paige's circumstances couldn't get any worse, the author sent me rocketing into another desperate scene.

Fasten your seatbelt. You won't be able to put it down.

  1. LOL! You give such good reviews.
    :-)
I've only read one Collins' book. I'll have to get ahold of this one.

  2. Hi Jess -

    Thanks. :)

Brandilyn writes such fascinating characters. She also has a craft book out. It's going on my wish list.

Be mindful this is the first book in the Kanner Lake Series. It stands on its own, but I can't wait to see what further adventures await the town.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  6. Hi Cindy -

I think you'll enjoy it. If you have long nails, I suggest you use some nail polish with a hardner. Otherwise, they'll likely be gone after reading this book. :)

    Blessings,
    Susan

  8. Hi Terri -

I try to read a book a week, and usually have two going at once. I won't review a book I haven't read myself. IMHO, it's not fair to the writer or the reader.

Pray for my Mom. She has a lung infection. Just came from the doctor's office. She'll be okay, but my schedule went out the window.

    Gotta run.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

Sorry to hear about your mother being ill. I'll pray for her and continue to pray for you.

  10. Hi Quiet Spirit -

Thank you for your prayers. Mom is feeling better. I'm doing well. My prayer/devotional time was relaxed and set the tone for my day.

    Have a blessed Resurrection Day!

    Susan :)
