  2. I didn't know there was a difference between mystery and suspense novels. I don't think I ever read a suspense one, while I read tons of mysteries. I love the part where we meet all of the characters. The crime doesn't always happen right away. And in good mysteries, I do sometimes get enough clues to guess the culprit if I'm clever and they play fair. If I didn't think I could guess "who done it?" I wouldn't enjoy this genre so much. It's good for my brain cells.
I wouldn't like a suspense book because I don't truly like that agitated feeling. If I have enough interest to turn the page, it's a good enough book for me.

  3. Hi Karen - Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Nancy - Suspense novels do make your heart race. Mysteries are more like a puzzle.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  7. Susan:
Thank you for this information. I have tried to write in the vein of mystery/suspense. I see why I was unable to complete the stories.
